We have the honour to be welcoming Australian Mars One astronaut candidate, Dianne McGrath.
The Mars One project is a global initiative that aims to kickstart humanity’s life on Mars by 2032. For Dianne it is the opportunity to do something extraordinary, that could change the face of history by establishing a human colony on Mars. Highly regarded in the sustainability space, Dianne is also a Masters program lecturer, PhD researcher, blogger and director. Dianne inspires Australian women from all walks of life to dream big. Out of 200,000 applicants world-wide, Dianne is in the top 100 candidates.
We are also looking forward to showcasing and celebrating the achievements of Western Sydney women and will be proudly hosting the Western Sydney University’s Women of the West Awards. Winners will be announced at this special lunch.
Funds raised on the day will go to OzHarvest who have been fighting food waste for over 17 years through their food rescue, education programs and sustainability work. In Australia 7.3 million tonnes of food is wasted every year. For every $1 donated, OzHarvest can deliver 2 meals to someone in need. With food relief at an all-time high, OzHarvest are helping people who have never needed this support before and have been severely affected by COVID-19.
There are two ways you can attend this exciting event - in person at the Waterview in Bicentennial Park for $125 (incl. GST) or by purchasing a virtual seat for $40 (incl. GST).
Coleman Greig will donate $40 from each virtual ticket sold to OzHarvest which will enable the delivery of 80 meals to people in need.
We really look forward to seeing you all at this very special lunch – whether it be virtually or face to face whilst making a difference to those in need.
