Support and mentoring for women in The Hills

13 July 2017

Last year, when Women in Business member Debbie Burgess took out top honours in Western Sydney University’s Women of the West Awards, she put her prize money to good use with an injection of funds into the cause she founded in 2016, The SHE Connective.

Based in The Hills and supported by a range of local businesses, The SHE Connective offers support and mentoring for women of all ages in a non-judgemental environment.

The initiative centres around the concept of a SHE Room, a space where women can come together to talk, seek guidance, share a cuppa and learn. Events focus on everything from finance through to Still Life Drawing classes and wellbeing sessions.

The SHE Room meets on the second and fourth Saturday of the month between 1pm and 3pm.
