Raymond Frangi joined the Coleman Greig Commercial Advice team in 2013.
Raymond has a thorough knowledge and extensive experience in the areas of commercial and corporations law, and has developed particular expertise in advising and acting for clients in the following areas:
Sale and acquisitions of businesses
Directors’ duties, corporate governance and compliance
Commercial risk management and regulatory advice
Company and business restructuring
Intellectual property due diligence and applications
Contract due diligence and negotiations, and drafting a variety of commercial and corporate documentation including shareholders agreements, sale/purchase of business agreements, joint venture agreements, hire agreements, share sale agreements, service agreements, license agreements, loan agreements and trading terms and conditions.
Raymond also has experience in advising and acting for local and international clients on commercial transactions worth up to $65M. Raymond's recent experience includes advising on deals involving multiple jurisdictions (including the United Kingdom, USA and China).
More recently Raymond has been advising developers, head contractors and subcontractors on contractual arrangement for significant Western Sydney residential and commercial projects, including drafting and negotiating standard and special construction contracts, and advising upon risk management strategies and dispute prevention.
Prior to joining Coleman Greig, Raymond worked as a commercial lawyer for a Sydney based specialist firm acting on behalf of large commercial organisations, institutional landlords, land developers and peak industry associations.
