Jessica Strangio is a Lawyer in Coleman Greig's Family Law team.
She works across all areas of family law with particular skills in handling domestic violence matters and complex parenting/child matters. Jessica’s ability to identify key issues early on ensures that matters are resolved without further impacting what is already an emotional time for many clients.
Jessica’s attention to detail is impeccable, she will often analyse disclosure documents in-depth and identify issues where there has not been full disclosure by the other party. She ensures her clients are always aware of their obligations under the Family Law Act.
Recognising the sensitive nature of her clients' matters, Jessica develops a relationship of trust and respect so that clients are confident in her ability to advocate for their interests. A strong communicator, Jessica often uses anecdotes and plain English to explain complicated matters to her client. Taking a step-by-step approach is important to Jessica and enables her to guide her clients through the process. Jessica is always well spoken, clear, concise and to the point.
Having experience in the legal industry since 2015, Jessica has experience in many areas of law, however, since her admission as a lawyer in July 2018, Jessica has solely focussed on her desire for justice through Family Law. Jessica’s passion is working with families to achieve resolutions which will benefit them long term.
Jessica has previously volunteered at Lifeline Macarthur Christmas Wrapping and has organised hampers for the Blue Wren House Camden Women’s Shelter fundraising event. She enjoys connecting with those in her local community and building relationships.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her dog Koda. She also enjoys cooking heritage-based food and cultivating her sustainable vegetable garden.
