Kaitlyn Sheridan is a Lawyer working within Coleman Greig’s Wills & Estate Planning team.
With experience in Wills & Estate Planning, Kaitlyn regularly assists individuals, couples and families with their estate planning documents as well as people who have lost a loved one.
Her clients range from high-net-worth individuals, young couples, families, to elderly retired couples.
Listening and solving problems comes naturally to Kaitlyn and she enjoys working on complex cases and drafting various Wills and documents to help her clients plan well for the future. Kaitlyn keeps her clients well informed throughout the entire process of their matter.
She has experience in advising and preparing testamentary trust wills and assisting families and individuals to structure their estate planning to transition their wealth to the next generation.
Passionate about assisting people in times of grief, Kaitlyn understands the emotion and grief one experiences when a loved one passes away and looks to make the process of administering the estate as efficient, easy and cost effective as possible.
Kaitlyn has achieved many successful outcomes for clients in the following situations:
- Blended family Estate Planning matters where either both partners have children from a previous marriage, or one partner does, and their goals are to provide for each other but also their own children.
- Multiple Estate administration matters where the next of kin resides overseas and an application has to be made by an attorney in Australia.
- Situations involving abuse of Powers of Attorney and advising clients on their rights and next steps and negotiating settlements prior to court proceedings.
Kaitlyn also regularly authors blogs on estate planning and estates procedures.
Outside of work Kaitlyn volunteers in her church community and enjoys running marathons, hiking and cooking.
