Nicole Stevens is a Senior Associate and valued member of Coleman Greig’s Family Law team.
With over 12 years’ experience, Nicole has worked across the full spectrum of family law: property matters, divorce applications, parenting issues, financial disclosure, preparing court documents for final hearings and reviewing subpoena material.
Nicole has experience dealing with complex parenting matters, involving allegations of violence and abuse, drug and alcohol issues and matters with ADVOs. She ensures her clients always feel heard, understood, and protected.
Nicole has the ability to understand the very difficult situations that a lot of family law clients face and that is juggling their emotional needs, the needs of their children and a parent’s desire to protect their children and ensure they have the best possible childhood leading into adulthood.
Considering the emotional needs of her clients is important to Nicole. She understands that a lot of situations can be highly sensitive and always ensures she has a caring and friendly approach.
Nicole regularly authors various family law articles and blogs. She has also contributed to Lexis Nexis and co-authored papers on the international aspects of family law property settlements.
In 2019, Nicole walked the Kokoda Trek to raise money for Mates in Construction, which is a charity that supports men in the construction industry.
She also regularly participates in the Hills Winter Sleep-out to support those in need.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time outdoors and reading.
