Marissa Aragona is a highly capable Legal Clerk, who is a key member of Coleman Greig’s Family Law team.
Having joined the firm as a Legal Cadet in 2018, Marissa has spent her time working closely with Coleman Greig’s senior lawyers across a range of legal areas, including Commercial Property, Wills and Estate Planning, Employment and Commercial Law.
Marissa confidently assists the Family Law team by conducting in-depth legal research and is heavily involved in the preparation of documents for various cases, which require high attention to detail.
In addition to her responsibilities as a Legal Clerk, Marissa is an ongoing contributor to a number of Coleman Greig’s blogs and legal updates. She often assists with the drafting of a wide range of pieces, covering topics such as Commercial Property, Family Law and the impacts of COVID-19. Passionate about translating the law into plain English, Marissa has also found herself assisting senior lawyers with presentations and articles for various publications.
Marissa understands the complexities involved in family law and knows that when clients are contacting the firm, they are often in a vulnerable and frustrating position, so it is important to her that a solid relationship is formed with the client early on.
Marissa is a clear communicator and tailors her approach to suit each client. Her overall goal when working with clients is to achieve the best possible result.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Marissa is also a member of St Vincent De Paul Society and has previously participated in initiatives such as the ‘Vinnies Van’. She also donates blood and plasma as often as possible.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
