Karina Penfold is a Principal Lawyer and Accredited Specialist within Coleman Greig’s Wills & Estates Team.
Karina has extensive experience across a broad range of Wills & Estates matters including Estate Planning, simple and complex Estate Administration, Contested Estates, Elder Law and Elder Abuse.
She is highly knowledgeable in complex matters including assisting those left out of a will, helping Executors in the event of disputes and acting for Beneficiaries to ensure Executors act in accordance with their obligations, and more.
Karina recognises that each Wills & Estate matter is unique and often fuelled with emotion which is why she takes the time to walk clients through the legal processes.
At the same time she actively seeks the most practical and cost-effective resolutions for her clients.
Whilst she is experienced in working with a variety of clients, Karina particularly enjoys assisting blended families, vulnerable persons, high-net-worth individuals, business owners and elderly clients.
As a fluent Russian speaker, Karina has the capacity to assist clients from the Russian community with their Wills and Estate matters.

- Estate Planning including preparation of simple Wills, Testamentary Discretionary Trusts, Special Disability Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian, Memorandums of Wishes and testamentary contracts.

- Assisting clients with applications concerning financial mismanagement by other person(s).

I was recently overseas and needed some urgent legal advice. I contacted Karina Penfold in the Estate Planning Team who I have been dealing with on an unrelated matter for the last 18 months.
