Robert O'Harae is a lawyer working within Coleman Greig's Wills and Estate Planning team.
Robert's role sees him providing advice to a wide range of clients, including those with blended families, vulnerable beneficiaries, the elderly, high net worth individuals and business owners. He has a particular interest in estates involving complex trust structures.
Robert works closely with his clients to ensure that their matters are resolved in a pragmatic, timely and cost-effective manner - with his professional and empathetic approach helping to reassure clients along each step of their Estate Planning or Litigation journey.
Prior to joining the firm's Wills and Estate Planning team, Robert spent a number of years practising at both a leading commercial firm and a boutique Family Law practice - positions which saw him gain strong levels of experience across a range of legal areas, which he is often able to draw on when advising clients on all facets of their matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
Robert has particularly strong experience in:
- Advising clients with regard to family provision claims;
- Assisting clients with applications for Probate and Letters of Administration;
- Preparing Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardian; and
- The administration of large, complex estates.
Outside of his work with Coleman Greig, Robert is a member of several French language groups which look to assist the development of French language learning in Australia, as well as assist both tourists and migrants in Sydney. As a fluent French speaker, he has the capacity to assist clients from the French community with both their Wills and Estate Administration, as well as Litigation matters.
