Rebecca brings a mindfulness and creativity to any matter she undertakes whilst maintaining a strong commercial focus. Her experience with a wide variety of commercial transactions and contracts, combined with her background in litigation and dispute resolution, allows her to see the 'bigger picture' and adopt a unique approach - one that is both commercially astute and pragmatic.
The depth and breadth of Rebecca's knowledge in all aspects of credit management and insolvency is crucial for insolvency practitioners and clients alike. She regularly advises directors on their duties and assists them with dealing with Director Penalty Notices (DPN) and Creditor's Statutory Demands.
From working with clients to develop effective credit management policies and procedures through to her specialist knowledge of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (cth) (PPSA), Rebecca ensures clients are kept well informed and understand their rights and options.
Rebecca regularly writes articles and presents briefings on various aspects of commercial law including credit management, insolvency and the PPSA.
In addition to her legal qualifications, she has completed a Commercial Mediation course through the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre and is an Professional member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
Rebecca has strong ties to Western Sydney and sits on the committee of the Parramatta & District Law Society. Her wealth of experience makes her a valuable mentor to students and lawyers within Coleman Greig and the wider community.
