Anna D’Addona

Senior Associate

About Anna

Accredited Specialist, Family Law

Anna D’Addona is a highly-respected Senior Associate within the profession, and a valued member of Coleman Greig’s Family Law team.  Her impressive level of experience has seen her successfully representing clients across the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Local Courts, the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the specialist Children’s Court.

Whilst Anna has gained significant experience in relation to family law issues such as parenting matters, property matters, divorce, financial settlements and de-facto relationships – she also has expertise in representing children and adults alike in the specialist Children’s Court.  With her position strengthened by the ingrained passion for working within Family Law that she’s held since her admission in 2008 - Anna has been appointed to a number of relevant Family Law panels, including the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers.

Prior to her admission as a Senior Associate, Anna held the position of Deputy Associate to a Federal Magistrate in what was then the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia.  She has also worked across a number of other administrative roles in the Family Court of Australia, which has allowed her high level of client advocacy to be bolstered by a natural comprehension of Family Court processes, especially with regard to how matters are approached from a judicial standpoint.

Anna’s genuinely kind and caring personality shines throughout each interaction that she has with clients, regardless of the circumstances - which has allowed her to cultivate high levels of trust within both her client and professional relationships.  In order to consistently achieve the best outcomes under all circumstances, Anna works with her clients to make sure that each matter is approached logically, and above all - realistically.

On top of her formal training and experience, Anna holds a number of memberships including a place on both the Legal Aid Care and Protection Panels for Children and Adults, as well as the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers – which has seen her take on an eclectic range of Family Law work.

Anna genuinely looks to assist people in need wherever possible, having provided pro-bono work to women living in crisis accommodation, and presenting on Family Law topics to women’s refuges and health centres.  Away from work, she is a devoted family woman who loves taking spontaneous getaways with her husband, step son and fur babies.
