James Ferguson is a lawyer within Coleman Greig’s Litigation & Disputes Resolution Team.
James’ extensive experience as a legal clerk has seen him excel in the reviewing and drafting of Court documents, as well as assisting with the preparation of evidence and in-depth legal research.
Throughout his time with Coleman Greig, James’ work has primarily focused on commercial areas of law. He has spent a significant amount of time working within Barristers’ chambers, where he honed his research skills working alongside both Senior and Junior Counsel. This high level of research ability and legal knowledge has lent to his continuing and valued involvement in the publication of Coleman Greig’s Plain English Answers.
James’ time is spent working closely with the lawyers in the litigation team to ensure that the best and most commercial outcome is achieved for all clients, at all times. James boasts a well-earned reputation for both accuracy and efficiency across all aspects of his work.
James believes that the key to a strong lawyer/client relationship is the ability to communicate effectively, and above all – openly, throughout all stages of a matter. This communicative ability is not only something that he both actively focusses and prides himself on – but that has driven him to follow the path of Litigation & Dispute Resolution.
James has recently completed a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Advanced Business Leadership)/Bachelor of Laws at Western Sydney University – and was a member of the University’s The Academy (formerly ‘Aspire Future Leaders’).
Alongside his professional achievements, James is a keen supporter of all things Western Sydney and takes a personal interest in the local community. He has been a key participant in the Coleman Greig Challenge, and is also a member of the Western Sydney Young Professionals group.
