waColeman Greig is thrilled with the recent recognition of two of its Principals, Malcolm Gittoes-Caesar and Caroline Hutchinson, in industry awards.

An Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with over 20 years’ experience in legal practice, Caroline has just been announced as a Finalist in the Women in Law Awards - Partner of the Year.

Caroline is a great champion of women in the firm as well as Greater Sydney. Amongst her achievements in promoting women in the workplace and in particular, the legal sector, Caroline sat on the Judging Panel for Western Sydney University’s Women of the West Awards. She is also a key liaison and MC for Women in Business, Coleman Greig’s networking forum for professional women, working in partnership with sponsors and NFP organisations supported at events. Caroline was recently appointed internally as the Director of Commercial Services, a great opportunity for Caroline to continue to add value to broad commercial client base.

In 2016, she was a Finalist in the inaugural Lawyer’s Weekly Partner of the Year Awards in two categories of law: Commercial, and Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

Malcolm has also had great success on the awards front, named as a Finalist in both the Lawyer’s Weekly Partner of the Year Awards and the Australian Law Awards Partner of the Year in 2017.

Head of our expanding Family Law team, Malcolm is an Accredited Specialist with over 15 years’ experience in legal practice. Like Caroline, Malcolm is passionate about nurturing talent within the legal sector.

Recently appointed to Director of Personal Services, Malcolm has responsibility for Coleman Greig’s Cadet program and mentors many staff within the firm.

Externally, Malcolm is a member of the Specialist Accreditation Family Law Advisory Committee, assisting and overseeing other family lawyers in gaining their accreditation.

Warrick McLean, CEO, said that it was great to have Caroline and Malcolm’s efforts recognised by the industry.

“These awards are highly competitive with outstanding Finalists shortlisted.

“Caroline and Malcolm are both highly deserving of these accolades and we are thrilled to have two talented and highly capable leaders at the helm of our commercial and personal services.

“We look forward to the firm continuing to benefit from their wisdom and expertise well into the future as we continue developing and strengthening our practice areas.”
