Warrick McLean

Coleman Greig is thrilled to announce the promotion of Rosemary Carreras to Principal Lawyer, as of 1 March. Head of the firm’s Estates and Succession team, Rosemary has proven herself to be an invaluable asset since joining Coleman Greig as an Associate five years ago.

With Rosemary at the helm, the team has experienced substantial growth over the last few years, with Estate Planning proving to be an area of increasing demand requiring specialised expertise.

A highly skilled practitioner, Rosemary has over 20 years of practical experience in preparing wills, powers of attorney, appointments of enduring guardian, testamentary trusts and disability trusts, working collaboratively with clients’ financial advisors and accountants to ensure her clients have a comprehensive, practical and tax effective estate plan.

Since joining the Coleman Greig team, Rosemary has developed the Estates and Succession team. Her calm, professional approach and empathetic nature has won over clients and colleagues alike.

Committed to respecting each individual, Rosemary’s approach to catering for every individual’s unique circumstances and tact in assisting clients dealing with particularly difficult and sensitive issues has set a leadership example that is reflected by her team.

As many of you may know, Rosemary is a regular presenter at in-house and external seminars, and her ability to break down complex issues easily and simply is much appreciated. In addition to this role, Rosemary takes a keen interest in educating people with vulnerable beneficiaries and people with possible capacity issues on estate planning.

Coleman Greig is pleased to be able to continue developing the Estates and Succession team with Rosemary leading the team as Principal Lawyer.
