Coleman Greig Lawyers acquires Norwest law firm Grech and Bannerman
Businesses and residents in The Hills will be able to access a greater range of legal services, expertise, facilities and support following the acquisition of Norwest-based law firm, Grech and Bannerman, by Coleman Greig Lawyers, effective Monday 6 June, 2016.
Warrick McLean, CEO, Coleman Greig, described the acquisition as a win for locally-based businesses and residents in need of high quality legal services and expertise.
“This acquisition gives clients the opportunity to access a wealth of experience and expertise from two well-established and reputable firms on a far greater scale.
“With the Western Sydney region experiencing unprecedented growth and development, we are excited about making ourselves even more accessible to our clients and in doing so, further enhancing our position as Greater Sydney’s leading law firm.”
Henry Grech, Special Counsel, will join Coleman Greig along with other Grech and Bannerman employees. Mr Grech expressed pleasure with the move, explaining that it will benefit both firms and, most importantly, clients.
“I am delighted to say that we will continue to be available to assist and advise from our existing Norwest office, in addition to Coleman Greig’s conveniently located Parramatta offices.”
Mr Grech said that the decision to join Coleman Greig was well-considered, with the question of how best to meet client needs into the future remaining key throughout the acquisition process.
“We’re committed to delivering quality services and attention to detail.
“This decision not only ensures that we can continue to provide these, it enhances what we can offer – more services, more specialist expertise and more access to a wide range of services and legal advice – from a highly-respected, professional and established firm.”
An award-winning firm, Coleman Greig offers a wide range of legal services for commercial and private clients throughout Greater Sydney, including: property law, employment law, litigation and dispute resolution, commercial advice, debt recovery, business migration, business succession planning, wills and estate planning, conveyancing and family law.
