Students & Cadets

The Coleman Greig Cadetship Program has been operating for the last 20 years and is open to all full-time, first year law students who have completed their HSC. As part of our five-year program you are given the opportunity to work at the firm on a paid casual basis.

Our program offers you an opportunity to mix your university studies with work experience and to build relationships with staff and clients. As a cadet you will complete rotations with the various teams, allowing you to get well-rounded experience in a legal environment. The best part of the rotation program is that it gives you the opportunity to apply the knowledge you are acquiring at university in a real work environment.

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Law Students

In November 2020, Coleman Greig launched its first Aboriginal Action Plan. This Plan formally documents our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and forms a core component of our business plan and corporate responsibility efforts.

If you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person please apply for the firm’s legal cadetship program that is available for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander full-time, first year law students.
