Sarah Ferguson

Biography

Sarah Ferguson is an ABC journalist who has presented 7.30 and Four Corners. She won the Gold Walkley Award in 2011 for her work on the Four Corners investigation ‘A Bloody Business’ into cruelty to animals in Indonesian abattoirs. In 2015, she wrote and presented the critically acclaimed Hitting Home, reporting from the frontline of Australia’s domestic violence crisis. The series won Best Documentary at the 2016 AACTA Awards and the Walkley Documentary Award.

In 2016 she presented the acclaimed three-part ABC documentary The Killing Season on the Rudd/Gillard government, and the companion volume The Killing Season Uncut for MUP.

She has also won the Melbourne Press Club Gold Quill Award, four Logies for most outstanding public affairs report, as well as the George Munster Award for Independent Journalism and the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award.
