Elizabeth Dibbs

Biography

Liz is a non-executive director in the not for profit and government sectors. She is the Pro Chancellor of the Board of Trustees of the University of Western Sydney, the Board of United Way Australia and a Governor of the Centenary Institute. Liz was a Partner and General Counsel of PwC until the end of 2003. She has also worked as a commercial litigator with major law firms Mallesons Stephen Jaques (Sydney) and Linklaters & Paines (London).

Since retiring from PwC, Liz has used her skills in the not for profit sector where she wishes to make as significant a contribution as possible to the betterment of communities and people’s lives in Australia and beyond. She was a director and President of YWCA NSW until 2011 and represented the World YWCA at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in 2010. Liz is chair of CEW’s Scholarship Committee.
