Biography

Having worked in the care sector for more than three decades, Danielle offers comprehensive knowledge and experience on how the sector works and how to obtain the best quality of care for a reasonable price.

This experience comes from leading DIAL-AN-ANGEL, Australia’s only national agency specialised in providing aged, home and childcare, for 12 years.  Prior to taking on the CEO role in 2003, Danielle was its Financial Director for 8 years and Operations Manager for 8 years.

In 2016 Danielle became Chairman of Family Business Australia (FBA) NSW/ACT Chapter and a national board member of the Association.  Her understanding of family business issues through her own succession and exit of her family’s business demonstrates Danielle’s skills to assist FBA members of all industries.  She remains a member of an FBA Forum Group.

Throughout her career, Danielle has contributed to the development of the care industry by lobbying the Commonwealth Government on issues ranging from subsidising the cost of care through to recognising nannies as professional carers.

In 2015, Danielle took the entrepreneurial step of setting up her own business to fill a gap in the care sector and meet the numerous calls for assistance in navigating the services offered in the aged, disability and home care. DRC – Care Solutions was born.

The business finds the best quality care options for private clients. It also offers Care Concierge Packages to corporates that wish to support employees with care responsibilities.

In addition to finding care solutions, Danielle remains in demand as a business consultant, conference speaker and expert witness.

Senior managers, CEOs and directors in the care sector tap into Danielle’s experience by engaging her for process improvement and business development assignments.

Through her conference speaking, Danielle keeps the sector and other stakeholders such as financial and estate planners informed of industry changes and best practice care provision.

Danielle’s thorough knowledge of the cost of care sees her continued engagement as an expert witness in court proceedings where damages claims are being determined for people who have been orphaned or have sustained permanent injuries.
