Charity work at CG

CG undertakes numerous activities every year in support of a range of charities and worthwhile causes.  Each different charity we support plays an important role in the lives of many.  We feel it is our corporate responsibility to give back by helping them to raise funds and awareness in the Western Sydney community.

Coleman Greig Charity Golf Day

Coleman Greig has an ongoing commitment to St Gabriel’s School for Students with Hearing Impairment and Other Special Needs. We have raised over $500,000 for the school since 1996 through our Charity Golf Day run in association with the Hills Shire Council.
The Coleman Greig Charity Day is an anticipated event on the local business community calendar. Around 200 participants compete each year in 18 holes of golf followed by a dinner with entertainment and fundraising activities including a silent auction and guessing competition.

Beyond the Square – Get on Stage

Beyond the Square (formerly known as Workshops in the Arts for People with a Disability) is Riverside Theatres’ dedicated performing arts program for people with a disability. It is the only mainstream theatre company in Australia to have a position dedicated solely to the development of opportunities for people with a disability in the arts.
Riverside has over a ten year history of running workshops for people with a disability. From the beginning of 2011 through the support of ArtsNSW, Riverside has been expanding, developing and strengthening opportunities offered to people with a disability.
Beyond the Square is about working outside the norm, thinking laterally and creatively. It is about embracing difference and challenging preconceptions. The Program works across three broad areas - Community Development, Artistic Development and Outreach.

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead

Coleman Greig identified an opportunity to support The Children’s Hospital at Westmead at our first Women in Business event for 2010. As an ambassador for the hospital, our keynote speaker Melissa Doyle encouraged the business women in attendance to raise nearly $2500, which was an excellent result.

Northcott Disability Services

Northcott Disability Services plays an integral role in the community, providing support to people with a broad range of disabilities and their families across NSW and the ACT.
Coleman and Greig support Northcott through various fundraising activities and also volunteering at Northcott’s respite house in North Rocks, Karingal. Coleman and Greig Principal, Andrew Grima has individually raised thousands of dollars in sponsorship donations for Northcott by competing in running events including the Sydney Running Festival.

National Breast Cancer Foundation

Each year Coleman Greig raises funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation through CG Women in Business. We have developed a strong relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in recent years, working closely with their team in implementing annual initiatives including their Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Month in August and Pink Ribbon Month in October.
